Like the 36 and 45.5 mm Seastar models, this watch owes its name to its water resistance up to a pressure of 30 bar (300 m), which corresponds to 1,000 feet. The Seastar features a unidirectional rotating bezel for reliable timekeeping underwater, and thanks to the use of Super-LumiNova® luminous coating on the hands and hour markers, legibility is guaranteed even in low light conditions.

Tissot's user-friendly quick-change system allows for easy replacement of straps, which the owner can choose from a wide range of compatible Tissot straps. This allows the Seastar to be personalized depending on your mood or occasion.

This Tissot Seastar 1000 40mm model has a bicolor bezel, black and with a yellow gold-colored PVD coating around the edge. The numbers and markings on the bezel as well as the hands and indices are also yellow gold-colored. The black rubber strap is equipped with a quick-change system and a pin buckle.
